Ken, please stop criticising here if you are planning for that. Let Alvin Dewart do the work.
People here have more gaming and modding experience than you do so they are making something “new” in DX with their unique ideas.
synthetic wrote:I am yet to see best dx mod ever. WW2? What time did Deus Ex setting take place again? I thought it was in the 2050s. WW2 was over by 1945.
The weapons are nice – the maps are well made and the gameplay is pretty different and fun.
With new mods, it does not matter what year Deus Ex has took place.
synthetic wrote:Hengsha? If we wanted non-lethal we go and chat on messenger.
The main aim of Hengsha RPG is to recreate Deus Ex: Human Revolution content, environment, character, stuff, weapon, and everything else in Deus Ex Multiplayer. Please stay away from Hengsha if you do not have played it or DXHR.
synthetic wrote:Most dx mods arent hosted because they are either buggy, poor quality, or simply random ideas some modder thought was the best thing ever without giving a metabolic end product about what the players wanted or expected.
The man himself who only plays zero augs and augs will always think it is buggy, but the man who has a lot of gaming experience (RPG and all other genres) will be a winner and always appreciate the content shown in the mod(s).
synthetic wrote:Arena DM is far superior to any other mod in spite of its age, bugs, or simplicity. 11 years later nobody still hasn't managed to top it, and since DXAG aims to remake DXMP in a very different and relatively simple way, it cannot be considered an improvement rather than something close to TC mod that at the very least respects what Deus Ex is. Most mods don't manage even that much.
Humanity does not need to play Arena all the day; likewise, one should not play the same thing every day.
Poor's Cage match is better.
Most modifications manage much more than Arena. You need your eyes on ModDB.

synthetic wrote:Listen, friends, we don't play this game online for second world war weaponry or themes, for star gates or unreal tournament weapons, and we definitely don't play it to see a low quality version of STALKER developed by one guy, or to idly walk around a map built for 1998-2000 standards just to pretend its sims.
That is NOT some low quality version and Lurker is a professional mapper. People are impressed to see his mapping skills; the content he has made in DX is so far good, and new.
People get just bored of playing augs everyday so it is necessary to play WW2, SG, RPG, or any other decent mod.
synthetic wrote:There are no good mods for this game to speak of when we try to be even a bit realistic about it, and when I tried to remember all the maps I've played during my years in this game, I realized there is a big black hole in that spot as well. Chinny has imported some maps that are potentially playable in original dxmp, but generally designed for 0augs I guess, and largely someone else's creation.
Deus Ex community keeps growing with new content and there are better SP and MP mods to play. Newbies need to search! Searching is key.
You cannot call Chin’s work someone else’s creation but it can be call “collaboration”.
Deus Ex 1 has the unique modding community with all types of mods and other content.
I am NOT going to agree with any of your ideas, posts, or other junk. Please let Alvin complete his work and do not quote this thread because I do not have enough time to waste.
