I completed Black Ops, in fact I completed most CoD games, although MW3 wasn't as awesome as I hoped it to be. 8/10 I'd say, still pretty good.

Since the middle of the last page this thread is about CoD, not about Deus Ex: Human Revolution. As they got not much in common. And since noone realy cares to do a comparsion of them, I'd like this thread go back to topic please.

Why would you need a walkthrough? It's pretty linear with some attempts to stray you away from your main objectives, but surely you don't need one!

Trial and error my friend, it's how we became pro at DX in the first place!
That and aimbot.

There's one mission on Hengsha where I got stuck, had too look up metabolic end product on youtube.. other than that it was all fine. My roommate is about to complete the game soon, it's awesome to see that he's playing side-missions I never found and I played missions he never found.. DX is a game that can't be fully completed.. :-D

The real question is, did you manage to save the hostages on the first mission the very first time you played?

I never even saw them the first time around.

The second time I knocked the black woman's husband out by accidently throwing a remote controlled explosive at his head.
The other hostages didn't seem to care.

I also had an epic firefight with the SWAT.

So yes, this proves it is indead a worthy prequel DX game

I can't help it though,
DAMN YOU AUTO HEAL

you mean hostages during the raid of Sarif Industries? I don't even remember much of the first couple missions, they didn't seem as memorable as some of the latter missions :)

also, there was this fat black lady who had the voice of a man, I remember I saved her..

Finally completed DR:HR..

Two words: Holy F/uck

The first few missions and all that arent that great and when i arrived in hengsha, the game went to... meh lets call it boring.

Just run here do that blabla, nothing really challenging to be honest.

But then, it gets really awesome.

Without giving out any spolier information, DX:HR has its "omg wtf?!?" moments, indeed i had some too.

But some things i dont even know, what they are supposed to be.
Like the Aug, where you can Manipulate the person you talk to. i never understood it.

or Tong in the game, i thought it was Tracer Tong, like the one in DX1 but no, it was a different tong.
Hm well i will complete the game again later with the max challenging difficult level and we will se, if they give me other ending options.

on my runthough i had two different endings, but anihex gave me two endings.. i thought they were the same but NO!! im confused but sh/it *confused*
"JC! JC! the net's going, the nets going black! JC! No more youtube, no more facebooks of any kind, we will start over, use command lines, if you get this then FIND US! FIND US!"

There are four endings, all of them available in the same room.

There are two Tongs in the game, depending on what version of the game you played you have access to certain items and missions, one of the missions include an encounter with Tracer Tong, other than that you meet his father, I can't remember his first name though.

That social aug is awesome, you're supposed to keep looking at the indicator while talking to people which will help you decide whether a character is alpha, beta or omega. If you can't convince them to comply with your choices of answers, you can use this aug to manipulate them by selecting one of the types (a,b,o) based on the indicator's behaviour during the convo. It usually worked for me.
