Awesome stuff! That can be a nice town map in the game. But wait, you missed the secret admin room!!
I made a few just to give people ideas, it would be better if people wrote the words and made them lol.

But you get the idea.
I'll walk through the city and list every building...
Everything in China has a sign except Aug Shop, Hotels, Subway.
Nothing in Uptown has a sign except Police station and Quickstop. (Hotel, Cafe, Barber, Hospital, Magazine Shop, etc)
There are street signs between Chinatown and Canals, but no street signs elsewhere.

Nooo-- I meant that it would be better if you rename it as Church, because that's not a temple.. but other than that minor thingie that doesn't matter it's still epicly awesome.

@Kalman: Nice map. Perhaps it could be embedded into the map itself at several places. And at the current location there is something like a red dot on the map.
@DJ: hmm yeh.. I read your post too! So you can't say that I jumped about it!

If Chinny says where he is going to place the uptown maps, I'll add the red dots and "you are here", I can add red dots, I'm qualified to do that in Photoshop, red dots are easy.
I wouldn't bother making a map of China, it got quite bigger in the editor

, maybe I'll send a copy of the map to Kalman when its just being polished with a rough map and if you have time you could make a China street map? (please

No, I didn't mean to add the dots into the texture but as brush or shape into the map itself.
If you added the dot to the texture, many different versions of the texture needed to be made which would just increase the size.

Yep, good mb-saving idea.
OK Trophies are breakable I noticed.
Flags are breakable.
CrateUnbreakableSmall is phys_falling and bmovable... and this means you can get stuck in places.
Generally though, the server is a lot smoother and far less bugs in joining and building your character. So well done all.
Dare I say it, but howabout Public Computers, the info terminals, could they be used? or Datacubes?
random disconnections or picking up dead bodies with cop weps can cause some interesting situations.

Will add these tonight to the map. Chinny and I are at over 20mb and beginning to push the SDK but thankfully it could rebuild when passed between PC's so far and just moments ago breathed big sigh of relief as beep of successful rebuild heard, will add them now and screenshot.
Can u make a Kalman or Deadmaus texture 512x512 plz, if u want to. I'll add it in scenery textures for Chinny's shops and hotels.

After a few hours of hosting, I noticed something with the mod. If player is left to starve, they are charged with killing themselves and given a wanted level! LOL.
Got some screenshots which will be available at
www.deusex.x10.mx as soon as they're uploaded, some fun, some showing issues, some just random.
I simply cannot host this map without annoying actor lag. Ping is good, not fantastic but a stable 40-120 under most circumstances. My only issue is (especially at populated areas, most notable the canal) how actors are just randomly appearing in front of me. Not good. Experimented with tickrate, maxclientrate etc. Even tried setting server to 4 slots to maximise available bandwidth per player.... not having any of it, lol, still doing it.
These forums are invaluable - I used to goto alpha for everything, but after half an hour of reading here and, admittedly some at edh, I have found out how to make server endless and stop console spam, and even how to fix Max "missing animation" Chen (although I can't do it without moddable version of Cozmo's RPG mod). Great stuff!!
Just for shits 'n' giggles I've thrown together one or two of DaveW's beta new vision textures into an installer allowing them to be used in MP play. If anybody would like to see this tiny little demo, goto

This npc cop was shooting at me for no reason (wasn't wanted) but the bullets didn't arrest me or do any damage. Then this npc civilian ran into him and he turned and shot her dead lol.
