GODZ CargoStation Alpha was removed because... I feel it is great for low gravity, but the map is just two spwnrooms, a corridor and a third room. The map gets itself to the top of the list by name, with our current mapvote settings, which no-one has fiddled with yet, also the spwns are really imbalanced and also the cabinets and vent movers are bugged. I noticed copyright "expired" 2006. If that means we can edit the map, we will... and an altfire version will happen. Otherwise I will consider putting it back on.
If no-one objects I don't need a vote. We opened a topic on your project in our infamous private section and I think 5 people signed up and supported the idea, which is a majority vote of active known voters...
But I am only 20% of the leadership, Icho, Maj, Kuch and Khaam may or may not agree. But otherwise I would say, since we invited you, sling on the tag now... call it trial and give members 2 weeks to object, which I really don't see happening...

I think you should stay with name "Valgothy", I dont know what does it mean but in my opinion no need to change it. DX community is very small, everyone know each other, no need to hide.
BTW Good luck with your application, I think you have a chance ...

ty vm, and Valgothy doesn't mean anything. It's just a name i used for practicaly everything. it was very handy, cause no one used it before

The vote was healthy and quick so far...
5 YES (3 leaders/2 other ranks)
2 NO (1leader/1 rank)
Both NO votes are based on the fact that it is healthier for DX that [E] recruits. [A] v [FGS] two's company, but three's a crowd, and familiarity definitely breeds contempt, so we hope that a fourth Altfire or custom clan will rise too.
3 said nothing about admin. 1 voted for admin rights from start, 1 voted against.
So plz decide, and take all the time you need if two weeks is not enough.
And my apologies since it was my idea to invite you to FGS...
1. win the vote
BUT join FGS for LIFE!!!
AND not necessarily being in a clan war line-up of 5 ppl straightaway, because you are new member. We have members who have waited 2 years to fight a war etc...
2. win the vote
BUT decline the invitation, reserve the right to re-apply at any time, in the meantime recruit 2 members for [E] and begin the slow process of building a clan... it took Majestic, Shadow, Kuch, Icho, etc... how long? quite long, but hell it was worth it...
I should add the vote is not over... so take your time...

Why involve [A] in this? Why compare [FGS] to [A]? We are nothing alike, and now you simply say that all other clans are... crap?

[A]lex,
I think what Shadow meant is that [A] is currently the only clan (besides [FGS]) that plays custom gametypes seriously. As you may have noticed yesterday (canyon base map) a lot of players from other clans (like Hey from and fear from [RTK]) like to think of AltFire as a noobish gametype. [A] on the other hand (correct me if I'm wrong) doesn't seem to think like this at all. [A] has given birth to other custom gametypes as well (DXAG), and in this way [FGS] and [A] are alike (you both have given us a custom gametype). So i don't think Shadow meant to say that all the other clans are shite, he simply said there aren't any custom based clans beside [FGS] and [A].
and as the rest concernces, I will bread uponn this some more and I will get back to you, either way I'm not withdrawing my app. atm. I agree that forming [E] is much better for DX and it was my goal from the start to give [FGS] an opponant in AltFire. But I'm not sure what to do now, I will get back to you.

What gametype did FGS give then? TNAG? FGS didn't make it. FGS so far didn't make any gametype.

we have not CREATED a new gametype, but we are the only clan (that i know of) that has constantly hosted TNAG. And because of that we have given the community a place to play a new kind of game that is diffrent from every other server (not counting all the new gametypes that [A] hosts)
