Did you visit the weird EDH server and your DX got shut down without any error?

Then visit this page:
http://www.dxalpha.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 679#234679

It's VERY important!

Ok, new post:

The EDH server is a fake. It's hosted by DejaVu and it uploads a virus to your computer that edits your DeusEx.ini and places a file in your System folder.

Open your DeusEx.ini, and look for:
master0.dxmp.net
And replace it with
master0.gamespy.com

Do this 2x (as it's been replaced 2x).

The file is not important, this wont affect your DX or PC.
Do NOT join that EDH server again, as it will do it all again.

Alpha is currently offline as most likely DejaVu is DoSing us. All of our websites are offline since 15 minutes after I posted the above message. DejaVu denies that he has anything to do with it, but still we get DoS'ed? Amazing eh.

edit:
Im not pointing the finger at you but i suspect youve delebratelly made it
point to local host.
I made it point to localhost as an attempt to stop the DoS. In case the DoS was pointed to dxalpha.com (the domainname) they would be DoSing themselves :)
http://www.dxarmageddon.com/ is also hosted by me, on the same server. Go ping that.

If you did then why not tell us that you had pointed it to localhost?
