This is running from a new and better server than Wunderland. Once it is stabilized, up and running I will most likely increase slots to 16-24.

May I ask, why can't you rent Wunderland at this price?
And since when did gaming-deluxe lower their prices?

No. Also I might be incorrect.

I didn't say that they have.

As you can see, server is up with most maps.
Issues so far: Please add to list.
0. Cheating with Vacuum Rifle - no wait I'm getting confused that's Wunderland
1. Area51Bunker_V3_152 missing superweapons. I have wrong version of super-rocket? Or it's different version from Wunderland? Aarrrgh!. What is that hangar without a big fat Superrocket cruising towards it.
2. 38 minutes TV-Series gametime. Yay or Nay?
3. Augs - Everyone happy so far?
4. Some maps are unfinished, Orbital, Abydos, Nexus, Cathedral etc...
I say this because everyone is playing Wunderland mostly, I think the new maps will make DXSG server 12/12
5. Map Rotation - OK with that?
I'm open for complaints, suggestions, rants about server configuration...

Could there be map voting?
Also im gonna try getting those skins ive made finished in two weeks time or less so possibly they might be able to be used in the server.

Awesome news.
I guess we could have mapvote if players can't repeat the map. Same as Wunderland server. I do want people to try the new maps and not get put off the server by repeats.

Since you are advertising this, I will make a few points to the validity of the post.
1) Quad Core
DeusEx is not a Quad Core Game. Its made for Single Core processors. There is not a single line of code to take into account a dual core processor. A Server Performs better because each "single" core of the four is a lot better designed with new architecture than the previous intel processors.
2) Increasing Slots to 16 - 24.
As mappers, most of you know that crowded maps doesnt do gaming well.....as most maps are made for 6 - 12 players. Raising a server to 16 - 24 slots would have to be on maps that can support such players, because once you reach a situation where 24 players are on Silo or Smuggler, it will be too crowded to have a decent game for everyone....However by all means, trying it once or twice never hurts.
The better thing to do is to run 4 servers from a Quad Core Machine with one good Internet Connection and sell four servers seperately.

not a single gameserver provider wont just put only 4 servers on his quad lol. that would be big waste of money for him.
if you buy only gaming server from some provider (not dedicated or virtual machine), your server gets put on a box where tons of other gaming servers are running already. i know that one guy who was offering servers in 2005 had around 7 12-slot cod1/cod2 servers on amd xp 3000+ box. now imagine what number of servers are running on today much better cpus. a quad one with enough of ram could easily hold 20 or more such servers. of course performance for each one of these cant be top-notch anymore, but thats the "investment" all gameserver providers follow.
if you want top performance, you need to buy a dedi box.

Buying rather than renting would be the idea option.
Thanks for the information guys.
1. I just relayed what I was told by GD. I thought Quadcore was a US Army ATV to be honest.
2. Succesful stargate servers were 16 slots I think. The maps are not normal, you could hold 50 players easily on "The Day After" map.
