This guide will cover some basics of MSN such as saving logs, files, changing your image, and adding contacts.
This guide will help pre-vent any fights in the future about logs being read by others.

How not to save your conversations:

Goto Tools then Options click on messages tab and where it say automatically Keep a history of my conversations uncheck the box then hit Apply

Look at the example in the picture below



How to change your picture:

Goto Tools then Options click on Personal tab You'll see a box and next to it will say show my display picture and allow others to see it you'll want to check that and hit Apply. Also their is a button called change picture in the same spot that allows you to change your image.

Once you select your image hit Apply again i see many peeps in msn convos without images this should help.

How to change where your files are downloaded to:

Goto Tool and Options and click the File Transfer Tab.
Click the change button to your desired folder I picked C:\Downloads
for this example.

Now when you receive files over MSN they will goto to this folder.

How to add new contacts to your MSN:

For this you don't need the Options close that out and goto Contacts click on add a contact you'll come to this

In the image below where the arrow is pointing put the email address.
Should be something like Hit-man_dxmp@hotmail.com click on the add contact at the bottom and your done.



How to show what your listening to on MSN:

Where the image is pointing in the image below click that arrow and pull the menu down and tell it to show what your listening to or enter your own personal message which ever you prefer.



Theirs is another step in this if u find it not working for you.
Goto windows media player goto Tools and Plugins you'll see windows live Messenger music plugin click on that and you should now see what your listening to in MSN.

Hardly a pub left in London, it's all chain pubs, or gastro or bistro now...

Where I'm from pubs have jack russell dogs, cider that looks like mouldy urine (like when u pissed in a bottle at a party and find it 2 weeks later, it's crawling across the table with several species of funghi), several people asleep or smoking a pipe, 50% of ppl are under-age and one or two cops that ride bikes and ask you keep the noise down, four hours after closing time...

Wetherspoons have cleared the floor with other pubs shame really, there falling at the rate of knots.
