New RPG coming soon to deusex

Hey all! A few of you already know about a new RPG im developing for deus-ex. A few betas have been hosted on my server.

Basiclly your in a very rural village. With all the RPG classics.
(and an incomplete sewer treatment building )

The weapons shop has all the deusex weapons in there. plus a popular AUTO sinper rifle. As the name suggests its an automatic sniper.
It is LETHAL. And you dont want it in the wrong hands :wink:

Theres a bar (wth a cellar of course).
A bank (people moaning about getting trapped in the safes :lol: )

The shop is yet to have buttons to enable you to open it from inside without picks.

The LAMs have the same name as normal lams. But theres a twist.
They are anticheating lams. They are embedded with the map using MyLevel method. Its harder to do the wall bug. (some people tried without success). The credits are embedded using MyLevel too :P

The sewers are riddled with traps. You have to be careful.

While showing a clan member them i fell into one myself :oops: .

The houses you will beable to buy when complete. (and theres an apt block). The apartment block has 2 floors. a ground floor bedsit and an upper floor bedsit. ( the upperfloor appears to be the fav building for players atm). The buildings have windows too :)

There are powerlines (or plyons) around the level. with warningsigns and ladders on them. (you can get on top of buildings using them).

I couldnt have them around the whole level due to the ammount of polys.

There is a river there too. it flows to behind a grate (that goes round a corner to another grate incase players get in).

My MP keypad with the default code and enable/disable feature is being used. The disable feature is proving handy :wink: ).

The doors are not just plain doors but doors with glass etc.

The map is around 40% done at this stage. Shots of it over the past week inside buildings are on hdd21modifications.co.cc.

atleast we got electrical wires can electricute are selves HAHAHA

Might get a better hair cut than walmart will give :-D

u should add sounds that sound like electricity when u go near them like a power box or something

If u make the right texture u don't need a ladder or nothing ;-)

Village?

I see a compound.

Villages are not often on flat ground.
Usually a river or bridge or raised ground etc...
Villages are not usually surrounded by square grey walls...

this place is a tennis court?

true, but now it looks like a bussiness park or something, if you'd make the buildings a bit taller (read a lot), and with some nice lanes across it with some low trees. would be a nice AltFire map. You could add some little features like the concierges house and some genarator rooms who can cut off whole sections of power on the map (in the buildings that is). Yeah could be nice.
