New maps on Wunderland

DXMP_Pacman_V2 by Baleout
It's quite fun. It's small, a maze, so sound becomes very important in the map. I was dropping medkits and tools to mark where I was lol... fun map.

This is a test map for a SG map, designed using DXMP_Silo and 14_Oceanlab_Silo...

DXMP_Titan by Chinese Democracy
The name says it all, big, dark and scary...something different.

We'll add some shots to this thread very soon.

obviously photo shopped... unless he somehow got those words in that font in the skybox. the map is prolly real, shadow and chin are good at hiding little secret projects from us only to surprise us on the server.

Technically it's possible to fire that into the skybox, it's not a complicated texture, or you could try the UBER leet approach and just make it out of tiny brushes. All in decimals of powers of 2.

more brushes = more meggage.

I would split the logo into sections and have about 4 or 8 sheets in the skybox to make up the logo... enlarge each texture about 4 perhaps, it might just fit across... but then I have never read a tut for putting words in skyboxes.

And ppl we need some ideas for this DXSG_Silo... maybe a countdown of 30 minutes for a rocket launch, the rocket launches, kills anyone inside or near the silo doors, maybe lands on the secret base or spawnrooms in the last few seconds... and what kind of base? launch command is the base?

I saw a real abandoned silo, it had 3 missiles and generator area, living area as well and it was flooded and rusty and dangerous as hell... very dark, not so mucb lighting was working...

that's great, but we have Khaamilus and Chinny, tnag, and different types of maps etc.... including different SG maps, some are tnag, some are tactical, some are default.

so eventually it will be organized and made easier to access.
