I'm looking for some survival games, not horrors but games where you are crash/wake up in a lonely island, you gather resources, food, build stuff etc.

I don't mean a shooter, FarCry was great but you just shoot and walk around the island! It's not what I am looking for.

lots of zombies coming at you from all directions, as you pass between missions the map and the equipment of the zombies changes. There are many kinds of guns including shotguns, machine guns, desert eagle etc. It's much fun when you want to get rid of pressure or just want to have some random fun.

if you wake up somewhere etc then it has to be 1st person right? but if you want resources and build houses then it's more like a strategy game?

Go and play Stranded 2, you'll know what I mean.

notrium kinda failed, no survival at all.

I loved Notrium for building a camp with lasz0r turrets and collecting random metabolic end product from the planet, and if you was an alien have an army of baby aliens and whipe everything out!

remember that's a rougelike, hardcore controls, shitty graphics but zomg, it's so addictive.
