So which would I need to put the weps in the map and make them work, as [FGS] will be hosting my map (if I ever get round to building it)?

If we are hosting your maps then just put normal weps in the spawnroom and the tnag replacer on our server will change them to altfire.

Hmm, I only ask 'cause I want to make sure certain Tnag weapons don't make it onto my map....

Well, then you must not place the weapons, that get replaced with the weapons, you don't want to have there.

Well I don't know what replaces what, which is why I asked. :D

Ty! 2 questions tho.

1. Wtf is the nexus? lol!

2. How does the gravrifle work? Came across it in orbital, semmed no different to the ordinary shock, other than it had instagib colours. Oh, and was weaker.

I'll chip in with a question, how do I add weapons such as the minigun and the double barreled shotgun?

It looks like the air compressor gun of UT but shoots a red rail of death.

The gravity rifle is supposed to give the victim a velocity shock, so the victim gets pushed into sky. By that the victim often dies by landing with too much force. Altfire function of that gun is vision scope.

In the original tnag replacer, the LAW was replaced by the mini gun. The hosted replacer replaces the LAW with the nexus cannon.
Since FGS ALTFIRE runs the weapon selector and LAW is disabled there, you won't see any of them.
The summon code for the mini gun is tnag.WeaponMinigun
Also, I'm not aware of a double barreled shotgun. What do you mean? :?

the double barrel shot gun is the flack rifle. the one where it shoots a spray or pellets or the altfire is it shoots a grenade that explodes with a shower of flack that damages anyone close to it... honestly i find it useless but that just because the projectiles it fires move slowly.

Ahh, that one.
tnag.WeaponSabotRifle

It's not used on the hosted tnag converter.
On the original converter, the minicrossbow is replaced by it.
ON the hosted one, the mini crossbow is replaced by the EMP prod

But I prefer the flack gun of Bowen3 tbh.

Oh yeah, the one that uses the unused unreali.quadshot model from UT. Or Unreal, can't remember which.

As Nobody explained, if you just make a normal DXMP map...

our server currently removes pistol and LAW, therefore Beretta and Nexus.
Remaining would be dts, vac rifle, shock rifle, blades, pulse, shotty, emp prod.
It is not a lot of weapons and for winning mapvote you might consider adding some, however it is nice and easy to let the wep replacer do the work

To just add to what was said about gravity-rifle. The scope on Grav Rifle and Nexus operates like a camera zoom lens. Press to activate, but Press AND hold it down to zoom. Grav rifle will give you vision aug in this "predator" mode.

Finally to add about Gravity-Rifle, it can be used to shoot through walls, using predator mode, therefore you must think very carefully about your map, if you intend to add gravity-rifle. Also Gravity-Rifle can be used to climb walls. As Nobody said, the fall can kill people, but if you can slide down a wall, aim just in front of your feet on the wall and shoot, you will spring back up. In the same way, you can launch yourself from the ground, by running and shooting the ground in front of your feet. Make sure you have ammo and medkits though before you go climbing.

Lol! Sounds fun! My map won't be using it tho, no need....
