my opinions on UrT weapons:

a) G36 is the noobiest weapon ever.
Why?
1. That lame 1,5x scope makes me laugh.
2. Very low damage
3. Huge spread.

b) Knife is the best weapon ever.
Why?
1. very high damage
2. throw-mode requires a lot of skill but is deadly when mastered
3. you can kick people while slicing then
4. you can humiliate campers :>

c) People that say "sr8 is for noobs" are so full of crap.
Why?
1. sr8 requires a shitload of skill
2. if the sniper misses, his enemy with an auto (like lr300) will surely kill him
3. the feeling when you kill someone with sr8 is just great

d) UMP45 is the best secondary weapon ever.
Why?
1. very high damage
2. low spread
3. high accuracy

e) smokes are noobish
Why?
1. if enemy throws a smoke, you know that they are coming and you can prepare yourself
2. nobody sees a thing, lots of teamkills can happen

f) hk69 is so *loving* noobish on uptown when you're in blue
why?
1. those lamers camp in the windows on the right and shoot those high-damage nades into your respawn
2. blue cannot do the same to red, cause their respawn is too high and noone can aim a hk nade there
3. of course I'm cool with hk's on other maps

g) sr8+ump+de+med+kevlar is the best all-around sniper setting
Why?
1. sr8 - best sniper weapon, self-explanatory,
2. ump - look @ d
3. de - best weapon if an auto gets close, 5-6 quick shots and he's dead
4. kevlar - for those nasty autos, gives you time to take out your deagle
5. medkit - if you have a good team, they will heal you up to 90%

After few weeks playing I think Ihave enough experience to disagree with some of your statements.

It's actually pretty useful for long range when shooting snipers or fighting auto rifelz without scope (m4, lr300,ak..)

Agreed. It's firing rate is slow aswell.

Not at all. Have you looked at the crosshair of an M4 and a G36? G36's is smaller both in standby both in use. Upgraded with a laser, it's the most accurate weapon after the snipers.

As I remember, you need 3 hits on torso to kill when thrown. Knives are too slow for that. Also, you have only 5 knives. A headshot is naturally deadly, but any other weapon will do that with lot more bullets thus giving you a bigger chance to get a fast kill.

Agreed. But UMP is a very slow weapon in UrT. You need to make sure that your bullets reach your target. If they don't, you're dead against any auto rifle.

Uhh you can't tell wether they are coming or not when you find a smoke nade. They might be just throwing it around the map to cause panic like in COD2 multiplayer, if you've played it you know what I'm talking about.
It's like saying that they're coming if you're hearing gunshots.

That's agreed, and the smoke effect of the game is very weak.

my favorite weapon combos depending on the map and the skill of those playing.

SR8, UMP45, DE, Kevlar, Helmet (you may say im noob for having helmet but it prevents a headshot with weak weapons like the Beretta or UMP from being a 1 shot kill)

then LR300, UMP, DE, Kevlar, Helmet, (Med or extra ammo depending on how noob the players are, extra ammo for when im fighting noobs)

You can choose one item if you have secondary weapon. If you choose not to have one, a second slot for items appears. It's right under the weapon slots. So you either have two items with a primary weapon and a pistol or you have one item with a primary a secondary weapon and a pistol.

crosshair is not a way to define accuracy. Crosshair spread just tells you if your shots are getting too spreaded.
any auto with a laser and silencer will act like that G36, first 3-4 shots will be very accurate, but next ones won't.

yes, but getting an enemy from behind, or getting in very close combat allows you to kill very quickly if you combine that with kicking someone.

this game is about accuracy... when you get in close combat against a guy with auto, you can jump around with your ump and shoot full auto, very accurate, and your enemy with lr300 cannot. If he's not jumping, he's very easy to hit, thus you win even if you have a gun that's shooting a little slower.

besides, you cannot shoot lr300/m4/ak in full auto, just look at their spread.

dude i use the A4 now and i PWN

I've ditched the secondary weapon, and ditched the grenades, so now I play with Kevlar, helmet and laser sighting, I tend to be more careful with my ammo now as I have to make it count.

No more wild ammo spraying fights ala, AltFire? XD
