The Counter Strike Prodigy map?! IMO THE BEST FGS map ever made and y'all took it off! WHY?! I want the map back on! Please!

I think it was removed on ShadowRunner's request who is the author of the map. I'm not sure though.

Yeah it seems many veteran players dislike it. I find it amazing. In fact much of my inspiration for my pyramid setup comes from that map, and thus from Shadow himself. Thank you sir for that.

I liked it very much too, but I think he wanted it removed for the number of bugs it included.

I remember I fixed a number of issues one of one of Shadow's maps, can't remember if it was this Prodigy one though.

Wow that is weird I hardly ever came across any bugs. The only reason I could think of why people would want it gone was the convenient way you could put vacuum grenades under the doors. Hell I would get 20+ kills per game just for those bad boys

Damn was I the reason they took it off cause I'll stop doing that if I can have my favorite map back.

You should negotiate with Nobody, he's the one to manage Altfire Backup server

I think there's still two versions of my Titan ship on the server still, the beta0 needs to go, I'll have to update that map again soon, add a 2 way teleporter if possible, I have had issues with them in past.

Oh titan was yours. Very nice indeed. I'm sure you've heard this a million times, but it needs some more light.

It's a teleporter that gives you the possibility to choose where to teleport to ...

BTT:
Prodigy is a nice map. But it realy got some bugs. Some of them made it kinda hard to fight siriously. I think the best maps for altfire are Scoutzknivez (this map only rocks on low-grav!) and Encounter. As soon as I got enough time and enough interesst, I continue making my small chess map. It's completly remade though ...

Thanks Ani, the lighting thing I just like dark maps, plus darkness hides a multitude of sins :P I don't consider myself a mapper.

- Fast Action
- Well lightened
- Nice Skybox
- Enough space for dodging

Contra:
- Spawnkilling possible
- Rooms are to small for dodging (jumping)
- Only Energy Shock rifle
- No Medibots and no Medikits

Encounter:
Pro:
- Enough space to dodge
- Enough possibilities for hiding (walls)
- Nice looking
- Every important weapon
- Medibots and(!) Medikits
- Four different spawns

Contra:
- Still got some bugs
- Kinda dark if brightness isn't increased
- Spawnkilling is possible
