Does no-one paint their bots in DX? The only exception I can think of is the Chinese.

I mean, UNATCO: Standard sec bot, grey. Milbot, grey. MJ12: Grey. NSF: Well, I don't recall any other bots than the commercial ones, so: default. I mean, look, couldn't they have made them green or something? Like UNATCO: Green bots, MJ12: Black with red trim. Rushed I say. Discuss.

MJ12 is a secret organisation. Officially they don't even exist. Unatco has its own bots. (grey) NSF is a large group of rebels who have captured some of the Unatco's bots and reprogrammed them. The Chinese have their own bots and they did repaint them. There are security bots in Paris subway too, painted yellow.

There is also another security bot that is not even used in the game... but it still looks cool.

Yeah, ok. But surely UNATCO could've painted them a camoflauge green to match the uniforms, surely? Would've made sense.

I wonder whether the security robot 4 are impled in the game.
when u spawn it, it has his own "drive" sound and his own 3-D model. but i never saw it in SP..
Well only Unatco has it own grey bots.

I think that's the yellow robot you can find in Paris subway, play again the map when you're taken to Morgan Everette's place. Those robots are usually in corners and attack only if you shoot your gun, otherwise they stand still like the red one in Wan Chai market, front of the Police Station.

I thought the ones in the Paris metro were the same as the one outside the statue Chris?

Maybe, but as far as I remember the subway ones are yellow. If not, I wonder what they were made for.

Hmmm. It only occured to me recently as every bot (nearly) in TNM has a colour. PDX: Blue. WC: Yellow. ABI: Same as PDX, with one very large, very red exception. GS milbot is also painted green, though the security bot in the engineering sector isn't, much like the spider bots.

Maybe someone could do a re-skin? Might be fun....

They didn't paint them because they were too busy not being queer. Also, I'm lolling at "it was as if the game was rushed". Dude, you really do know nothing about dx...

I didn't say the game was rushed, just that the bots were. If the Chinese can spare the time to paint their bots, so can the rest of the world is all I'm saying.

DX was a rushed game, especially the multiplayer which was a "holy christs! we got GOTY, wing a MP on that pile of foshizllaiel" endeavour of epic preportions.
