These were made by a guy called Nico di Mattia using Photoshop. He claims to have made most of these videos in 3-7 hours normally and increased he speed of the videos so we can see the whole process in a couple minutes which makes the videos quite amazing.
I like his videos, I really do.
I've also read a comment at one of the videos saying that it's fake, I should just watch the whole video backwards. I think that makes sense.
My idea is that it could be done by finding a picture then slowly removing all details until it looks the way it is in the first couple seconds.
If these videos are real, the guy is a genious. If these videos are fake, he's still a genious because he made himself famous by making them. But I want to know what other people say.

How is he gonna fake the whole process like that? If he did fake it he's still a genius indeed lol

Impressive. But I don't see how this is more genius than a real painter. He does the same, only on a computer...

Ever went to Paris? On Montmartre there are painters who paint equally (ok maybe not THAT accurate, but still) good in less time.

This guy claims to be doing this for the living. That is a reason to believe it's not fake, but still.. 7 hours??!?!?!11 Other painters need weeks to finish an accurate job like this! Watch Megan Fox painting, She was already recognizable after the first couple seconds. I've found Dark Knight video aswell, of course.

It is real..
With a tablet, I can do that too, sadly, not that good, yes it can take days, but when you perfect photoshop, it can take hours.

that word actually makes sense.
I've heard the guy calling Yahoo JAHOO on Eurosport!
If Yahoo can be JAHOO, then Youtube has all rights to be Jewtube.
But reading your comment a little further...

I've spent sometime studying these vids prior to posting this: I looked at them in reverse, normal speed, slow motion, etc... I watched him very closely.... This guy isn't faking these images in my opinion.. I can say that because I simply can't find anything that indicates he's faking them.. The guy is one of the best painters on the computer that I have ever seen.
