The [FGS] Clan

There's too much spamming going on the [FGS] boards lately which makes many people end up not giving a damn about what's going on anymore.

My requests are the following;
- Stop posting topics that even the author knows are completely pointless
- Stop reviving old topics unless you have a very good reason to do so like updating it with useful information. Don't revive them if all you have to say is spam or completely irrelevant
- Stop using the forum for real time chatting, we've got quite a few chat softwares out there for doing that
- Stop spamming topics that are not in the spam section
- Stop posting just to increase your post count

While I do realise that even I spammed a lot lately, I believe it has crossed a line, we should stop now.
I suggest limiting the number of spam topics to 5/day (Including OBC material). Should we face more topics of such than 5, the older topics get locked. For instance if there are 6 active topics in the spam section the oldest topic gets locked so the other 5 can go on.

With the permission of a forum administrator I recommend this new system to start by tomorrow.

It's a *love*!ng spam section for a reason, don't look at it if you don't like spam. Or get new posts from Spam out of the "new posts" thing, so you're not confronted with a list of metabolic end product topics when you check the new posts... If you get me.

I have to agree. The ontopic:spam ratio on this forum is revolting.

My idea is that you should make posts made in the SPAM SECTION not show up as NEW POSTS

That way you get less annoyed, looking at new posts, and only seeing spam.
