It wasn't sarcasm, it's got the best detection rate out of all of the free scanners I've tried and it's much less resource-hungry. ^^

yup, avira is good

it slows down removal of files, though. I often disable the file monitor for a moment to speed up deleting of large amounts of data (porn etc. )

I've posted a link to Avira, which is a good and free antivirus. Remember to uninstall AVG before installing Avira.
