The [FGS] Clan

why i dunno ! Multiprocess fixer not wroking and still got 450 300 .. FPs !
Connecting to anyserver just for 3scnd and reback to main DX ..
Anything can i do ?

Find your rendering device
Find line Change it to false. Save changes, and have fun

And deinstall fixer :P

That doesn't make sense..
VSync is supposed to keep the fps at the refresh rate of the display.

I fix it with d3d9! now it's 60FPs !

Note: nothing wrong with having high fps as long as you don't shoot faster than others, which is easy to detect. None of my clan members shoot fast than others (if you have seen any then let me know!).

Set 'UseVSync=True' in your dx.ini, under the:
[OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice] or [D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice] or whichever renderer you use.

I don't know what Polish wanted to say, anyway, that doesn't matter. I believe having high FPS is totally wrong. Specially 200 or above, I'd say to just do it 100+, maximum 150.

Its not higher than that anyway, and when firing it goes even lower.
I'm currently enjoying 20fps on my pcs at Uni, i'd say the crappy mouse & keyboard has greater affect on my gameplay than the lower fps, but yes I'd prefer higher fps.

No, I haven't, I watched what Blade and Smokey, or someone else, do in-game about their 'fps' issues. He had 60 and Blade solved issues so it got to 200.

Higher fps improves gameplay quality, and makes a few things easier (= more fun = play more). Nearly all the 'good' players play at an fps which isn't limited to 60, even the 'post of the year' guy.

But i do not expect you DJ to understand this as I don't believe you have ever been any 'good' gameplay-wise

I understand the problem about fire-rate. But I assure you that we do not abuse this bug. (or else we'd all be banned from our own server)

Higher FPS gives you more advantage, just doesn't improve the gameplay quality. Fear doesn't have above 100/150.

I say higher FPS above 150 is totally unfair, just try assault-rifling and you'll notice the difference between 100/150 FPS to 200/250 FPS.
