So yeah, there's this freaking SPAM

BUT WHERE IS GENERAL CHAT. WE JUST STICK ON DEUS EX? NO. I mean, happy birthdays aint meant to be SPAM, sometimes, but yeah. WE GOTTA POST SOMETHING NON-DX-RELATED and no spam at it, so there should be a GENERAL CHAT?

From my experience, these boards tend to magically turn general chat topics into spam topics. This subforum was traditionally a general chat forum, I think. Hence, I see no need for such a subforum. If there are enough people who do want such a subforum, then action will be taken.

Why don't you just get both of em?

You said that 'this' was the general chat before, now it's 'spam'. Why wasn't there a new spam created instead, then moderators can go very strict over that the general chat, like.. say, Deus Ex's?

Because given the nature of the people on this board, the spam forum would be empty, and all the spam would still come here. The Off-Beat club is a fine example of this. The last post there was on March 1.

That's just because I'm not allowed there, and it's just a forum for weird talks, what I am on about is general chat, like, say, discussing about.. music, or let's say something general. Like discussing politics, or stuff what we talked on the 'lucid dreaming'

and, btw; lucid dreaming was meant to be a very serious topic tbh. :$

Politics - dangerous, I think half the members would get banned. And they say never discuss women, politics and religion right?

I took it to mean, this is a Forum for German Servers who do music and deus ex and tech stuff, therefore talking about gardening or if the age of consent in Yemen is too low, or we should burn korans or burn marines, would be like in the wrong website?

there's a big difference here, spam and deus ex. It should have been spam and general chat instead.

The problem would be that a lot of spam would still get into the general chat section and the moderators would have a lot of work to split off the spam.

Besides, the lack of activity here, who spams much anymore now anyway.

General DX related discussions are rare so it's easier to keep them moderated.

how about going strict, let's say giving out warnings, then perhaps even bans for some time so they get the point?

things been just fine for years now, there's no point to change it now.

they're not going fine, all we discuss is some homosexual schiesses, even if something is interesting it gets spamzzored cus it's already on SPAM!
