If this is supposed to be a reboot of the franchise then it might be possible they will remake DX 1?

No hackable ATMs
At least there's still hope on the zombie ninja's as there was no clear "no" on that question.
I think they're keeping it on the down-low to blow us all away!1
Edit:
The reply actually seemed to be filled with alot of frustration. Eidos clearly isn't happy that this info leaked out.
Also, to reply to "Poor"
If they remade DX1 then they're stabbing theirselfs in the foot.
While a graphical overhaul of the game would be appreciated, the mechanics they put in DX:HR (lol btw at the guy who said DE:HR) don't fit the original DX.
If they remade DX with the features in DX:HR it would turn out very dissapointing.
That's my opinion
And yes, stabbing yourself in the foot is an expression from now on

@ Poor
I am 99% sure this will not happen. Montreal writers wouldn't make royalties on characters etc.
It would make Sheldon Pacotti rich and Mary de Marle poor. Simply just not going to happen for similar simple legal reasons.
If you look at the fanbase's reaction to the idea too, only a suicidal maniac would attempt the project.
What Masta said + 1
The project business-wise is a no-no, publishers don't want to release a 1999 game in 2014.
Zombie Ninja's lol. Wouldn't be surprised if we see mech forerunners of MJ12 Commandos and MIB though. Or Bob Page trying to create them. Versalife is in the story, so anything could happen.
Their answers are fair enough about lack of resources, but when you ask them why they put something IN, the answers can be disturbing sometimes. Equally when Eidos call it DE or make secret doors glow, you wonder how much research really got done.
I suspect Mary, since she worked with Sheldon Pacotti (original writer), tried to keep things very Deus Ex. But if you look at JJB I suspect, although he's responsible for some awesome art direction, his interests are console and Warhammer, which is pretty lacking in scientific or intellectual assumptions, (the entire universe is stuck technologically and never advances) and I suspect his persona and popular charisma influenced some of the decisions to make it more simple and bloodthirsty. Seems like the only Eidos who regularly play DX are the Community team, sounds like developers only played it in 2000, 2004 and 2007. But that's a really purist DX1 answer I guess.

I'm bitching JJB, when he's done the best art direction of any DX game, but I do hear from leak players that mini-map, regen, cover, radar, make it just too easy and not DX, although there's many improvements and it's a fun game.
Kyle and Jerion are awesome and I think Mary the writer is pretty awesome, I like the dialogue in the videos.

Well i knew in some way, that the new things make this game easier than DX1, cuz the new homosexual in the shoter gene are too lazy for a challange :p
DX1 would be too hard for them i guess, so they implanted regen health, cover system and what not.
But i will play it old school, ok i cant avoid the regen health, but i never really used cover system in games cuz i cant handle with it.. ore im too lazy for that metabolic end product (F.E.A.R. 3 for example was driving me Nuts with its ass cover system..)
well we will see =)
