The [FGS] Clan

I notice while many games do this, one doesn't exist for Deus Ex. Could be a good promo tool.
I'd be happy to put one together, with help from a few actors, just need to organize what the 100 entertaining deaths would be.
The idea is, even for what sounds like a normal death e.g. bullets, it would be filmed in an unexpected or entertaining way.

I'll kick off with a few. Please number your suggestions.

1. Being stabbed
2. Being shot
3. Being crushed by another player
4. Typing suicide
5. Having TNT dropped on your head
6. Being eaten by a Karkian
7. Being gassed to death
8. Walking past a LAM
9. Being crushed by an elevator
10. Beaten with a baton

Oh, I got some further (extraordinary) ideas:

11. Eating a super-rocket.
12. Getting vaporized with a neutron bomb.
13. Getting crushed within the rings of a ring transporter.
14. Teleporting to 5146524 with a ring-transporter.
15. Getting targeted for random obliteration by a BowenBot.
16. Provoking "][GODZ][Nobody's EVIL Attack Kitten"
17. Typing the wrong key sequence on the GODZ keypad.
18. Getting killed by a Credit card. (no joke!)
19. Running into a (nasty) BSP hole.

21. Getting crushed by a helicopter
22. Falling to an explosive barrel

What I would like people to do, is think of about 300 ways. We will choose the best 100-150 and film. Can decide the 100 from seeing the best 100 filmed perhaps.

ok this is really cool. I like starving to death, didn't see that in other games. Halo 3's was incredibly boring.

Definitely I think we can hit the 200 mark at least, due to some repetition or repetition of someone being shot with something.

From looking at your statement, it appears you haven't actually watched the Gmod video.
We are using DX voices, and if possible Poor's input will be greatly valued too, but if you read the list of ways to die, some will require voice acting, just as in the Gmod vid. It's already been stated we will use DX voices and Chinny is recording. Take Chinny's brother way to die, or someone's gf, etc, we would need some voice acting, same as in the Gmod vid.

you're right, i was thinking of showing things that the game could do beyond straight shooters e.g Halo, COD etc. So for this one I would show a player taking the drug, then show his 1st person view, being totally intoxicated and not being able to see the enemy.
I admit, it's not a way to die.

At DJ, I just think some voice acting is required for one or two deaths, to set characters not in the game without leaving the genre of the game engine, e.g brother/gf etc.
The brother voice can be really annoying and the gf voice can be really pathetic and useless.

The project is my idea, but I'm not spoiling people's fun, I appreciate everyone's thoughts.
