Altfire will probably always be 0-aug, or at least won't use default augs, the reason is simply that ammunition becomes an issue, because to evade damage all you need to do is turn on speed and jump 10240 units into the air and the enemy has expended all ammo trying to hit you even once. If someone designs a set of augs that will work and be appropriate to the cyberpunk sci fi altfire world then yes plz.

I think we have enough maps, lol We are ABSOLUTELY FINE on maps :P..
AG mod has only 1 dedicated map and 2 of the default maps are really unsuitable. SG mod has enough maps perhaps, but like Altfire maps, need editing perhaps, most are too big for current player numbers. Also in the last 6 months the situation has changed from Altfire mappers being myself and Chinny mainly, to FGS/community having at least 10 guys who can produce maps better than the 2006-7 spree of hasty maps.
Also as player numbers fell, a lot of maps are now too big and some of the newer maps are too small and most of them weren't designed with altfire in mind are unsuitable too.
Maybe add more Player classes, player features, maybe augs, and maybe a new gametype.
Sci Fi skins would be good. More percentage of sci-fi only or secret base maps would be my personal choice. Unatco uniform looks a bit funny on some of the SG maps. Since some altfire maps are huge and can be edited, a vehicle mod could be good.
On the smaller scale, maybe there is mileage for something like pacman/cagematch/tnag kind of thing. I think someone is bringing UT maps into altfire, so that could be a great idea to bring players over from UT.
Ideally either UT skins or something like this, I'd like to see Altfire become a total MP Mod.
Also I think we should all be making maps for Arena mod too, bot servers are essential to keep the game alive in future.
