Messing with different settings.

I'm going to host:

Ikea
Office
Drydock
CMD
Yard
my map

And probably others. But you can see all those maps have something in common and they set the general concept.
Might bung in some classics like Tunnel Network, but prolly try to only host CMD and Cath from default folder.

The GD server comes with two IP addresses already banned, not sure whose, two different countries, but I'll leave it and see if anyone complains.

As I am very busy, all suggestions and ideas are welcome.

Sounds good. Will play later, the fact of limited augs reminds me of DXAG I think it was? The class based one, god I miss that

What about DXMS maps? There was few good maps. ^^ Also Zan-goh was nice and GODZ maps.

DXMS maps, I will have a look, but when I looked before, many were unsuitable, or were just brushwork, not much interaction and a bit "56k" feel, but I would host RTKM Spirit and DXMS_Foregone if it is 0-aug then I would host Scoutzknivez too perhaps. I will have a look, but many don't have bot cabinets.

Ideally I need a augselector, like DXWwep Selector. I want install Red's augs, Hejhuka's augs and select a range of augs from each to offer the player, so augs are not really so much combat orientated, but for defence or tooling or other types of stuff that the custom augs offer.

After giving it some thought, I think I will run a Hardcore Arena Botserver for a while.

Only, I would like to convert Office, Drydock, maps like this.

Apparently it's just a case of adding pathnodes, I haven't read the readme yet.

Hardcore Arena? Is this that mod, where you play against UNATCO and NSF bots? They are cheaters, be careful

I'm a little disappointed I never got to try 2 aug. But I'm also very curious about the hardcore arena mod I've been hearing about.

Is Hejukha the mod where there where bots usually in the form of JCDenton, running around trying to kill you?

Arena is the bots running around trying to kill you that look like SP characters, Anna Navarre is the most dangerous. Tracer Tong, Tamerlane, Gunther Hermann etc...

Maps were Paris subway station, The Town, Stalwart and some crappy labyrinth stuff. Mod is from 2002.

In 2005 I joined Drunkard's botserver for my first dxmp game, took me about 3 minutes to realize they were bots not spammers having fun.

dxbots.u , mod is called "Arena" by Janus Hejhuka from 2002. I think there was a Bowens version too, with a beige compound and huts in two lines, a tunnel and underground room with vortex grenade. This was a better map I think than the default "Arena maps", although Stalwart was playable and Paris and The_Town weren't too bad. The other two maps were labyrinth and mostly less intense, some time between firefights...

Can put it back to two augs, but had some complaint. Have had requests for 3 augs and no extra and I saw the point being made why. Probably will do max skills, although one person too complained about that.

Can you remember what aug settings Drunkard had? Was it 1 aug for both player and NPC?
