Well, that is a problem if I must say so. I suppose you've
read this topic since you got your application form right. Then you should know what it states about the fact of you being unfamiliar with FGS and its members.
Nevertheless, your poll has started. Good luck!

DJ is right, you'll need to keep the following quote from the application form in mind:
There is NO point to apply if we don't know each other. We base our opinions of players from what we see on our forums and in our servers, not in their applications. Application is merely a formality and the members confirming an acceptance into [FGS]. Do not apply if most members don't know you or you are not already a regular on our forums.

Quite regularly people seem to be failing on this point. Maybe the wording is just not explicit enough. It could explain that membership is done by vote and members can't vote if they have no opinion or knowledge of the applicant. It could be worded more strongly perhaps, like "Your application will be automatically rejected if..., or simply just close recruiting and invite people only. Solves your problem. Or have a compromise solution. You recruit, but the application must be made by an FGS member with a second member supporting. This way, hopefuls need to be transparent/friends with at least 2 members etc... something like this.

If people fail to read and understand our application form as it is, we cannot take them seriously anyway

Thanks for your effort to make that application, BionicGuy.
Unfortunately, the internal poll resulted in a rejection.
I suggest to keep in touch with us and to show some presence the next time.

Sasquatch is right, it's not a merit based system but a vote based largely on what voters know of that person, didn't want to waste your time. Good luck in future.
