The [FGS] Clan

Hi guys;

About half an hour ago, I left FGS Altfire server and for the previous ~1/2 hour or so before that, there was a very disagreeable individual playing. He/she had spent some time insulting other players as homosexual, had misappropriated both the name of Dimebag and my own name (Whiplash), at minimum. In fights, he would leave the game or go into spectator mode just before he gets killed, and then come back almost immediately.

Fear was present in one of the maps, and was a witness. Again, the time was about 12AM to 1AM, October 16th GMT.

I suggest that the servers' admin have a look through the server log for that time, find the clowns' IP address and take the necessary steps to prevent any re-occurance.

Did he set yo rage on fire?!!!

Yeah I'll be the first to admit I lost my cool a little bit, especially when he changed his name to Whiplash and started calling me a homosexual.

It's all in the logs im sure. Edit: I just remembered the server crashed not long before I left, so the logs might have been overwritten.

Yeah, we were playing in Twinz, perhaps another map before that and the moron was using the name Dimebag (with weird lettering that I don't remember and couldn't type anyway) the server crashed, and when I came back it was Area 51 and he was named "Whiplash" while I had to join as "Whiplash_82"

That's when I REALLY lost my cool.

Man, I've had to suffer those kind of fools on Wunderland too... There have been at least a few different people. They keep copying my name too and have pretty much nothing else to do than to insult... And I start thinking, "how possibly can there be people like that on Deus Ex?! I thought DX was for civilized ones!"
At those times I wish I had admin rights on the server.

Don't worry, the server log file for FGS ALTFIRE is saved on server crash. I'll have a look at it.
I could even investigate an incident that happened 2 years ago, if that was required.

So.. to all.. if there's a problem, note the date and time in GMT and I'll check it out.

I don't know.. but he's banned until further notice.
He's one of the classical reoffenders. He likes altfire and he's good at it but he's having attitude issues.
It's just weird that he keeps doing that although he knows exactly that Nobody catches him at the end.

Good riddance. Could u ban him from FGS other server and share his details with other server admins? He's a right nuisance in other servers as well.

Perhaps if he gets banned from servers en-masse he'll either learn some manners or, better yet, uninstall DX and go away and annoy somoene else.

Does anoyne have an email address for the admins of THC server? He's spent a lot of time there and in Karkys server too.

Did you see him on the server today? He was banned from THC yesterday.

I requested admin or even moderator ages ago, mass of experience, i don't take metabolic end product from people during games, cheating, or repetitive abuse (after many warnings) and i straight up kick people, i don't give a crap about that "damaging to dx activity" bull crap, whether they stay or not it isn't going to improve or lower the games activity.

I remember the incident, most of the time it's best to ignore people like that, only spamming tends to bother me because of the ping sound, abuse happens in every game you sortof have to put up with it, until they start insulting fgs or admins in their own server, which is what happened, couldn't do a thing though.

You cant ignore this ahole because he shoots your grenades, or in a coop map he shoots other players, basically does anything he possibly can to ruin the fun for other people. I was in one server where I had lots of gas traps, the server had teamdamage on and the anti tk mod. So he came into the server, shot all my grenades got himself killed and then chose to punish me for teamkilling each time. One or two more and I'd have been automatically kicked.

You also can't ignore him when he forges another players name, such as my own.
