The [FGS] Clan

I see from oldish threads URT was popular with a fair bunch of dxers. But who besides Chees and Lighto are playin' this nowadays? I just started Urt and Red Faction and I need somet different than DX or CS

[R]Unknown plays UrT. He hasn't been on for a while but I know he likes to have a few games on there now and then.

I used to play sometimes.
Have to boot that up sometimes.

I'm about to start playing/mapping again on a very casual basis, if I can get DX installed properly.

I tried to work on some DX maps recently and I was finding it tough to open some older stuff.
It's just finding the 3 days I need to get everything up and running.

That page hasn't updated in about a month or two, it's listing servers that aren't up anymore and the bunch of new servers up aren't listed, i think that page is dead.

I think the visual server list has some kind of updating delay or issues, because if you click that classic fgs 0aug 2011 server then the player list/detailed info suddenly shows 2016 server, which is correct. Noticed it couple days ago, but oh well.

best option is to use DXSL. It seems like there's two versions, the one with a red deus ex logo looks like it works best - just edit the MS setting to show the address and port of the new one, broken showing of unicode names is a small price to pay for a list of servers without launching DX itself.

Single Player only for me lately

I just play it on random times and only maybe once every few months.
Not much to do there nowadays and the new maps are all meh. oldschool 0aug classic or FGS wunderland are empty most of the time when i want to play a match or two
