haha I didnt really notice that, was thinking it funny that CMD was on every server with an FGS tag...oops sorry... Xikron had a server and didnt someone else too, would be fun to put as many FGS up as possible on the list one day.
speaking of advertising...

DXMS server, dxms_Dungeon, no rifle...

What maps does your server have, Shadowrunner? I hope it includes big maps cause I generally don't like small ones

Good idea, but if everyone hosts, there will be very laggy servers (with ADSL users). SDSL, if anyone here has it, would be fine though.

The local server isn't on line, currently running the strato root server.
We have not the time to administrate this root server.

Thanks for your map/wep comment Magus, I'll have to ask you about this...
Current maps are medium ones like HK_The DayAfter, Smuggler_TheDayAfter, DXMP_Stand_Off, Amtrack and DXMP_Imperator... and some big ones like CMD_TheDayAfter, Area51_TheDayAfter...
I've hosted Ste's unfinished 24mb map DXMP_Evolution as well... it was very popular, some cool movers and an rpg feel cos its so big...when Atlantis finishes working on Nobody's edit of my Area51 map, this too will go up as a DXSG game and map times will switch to 45 mins for a trial.Perhaps the server could mix RPG and DXSG and other custom stuff...
Theres also some smaller maps coming, like the Star Wars map...

I wouldn't try too diverse an approach, you could end up losing out on players during peak times, if a map and gametype appears that they don't want to play.

Today's map list.
I think Magus is right, quality not quantity and not too diverse. I can fill the server easy, just go in and put on the right map. Keeping a player for more than 3/4 maps is hard though, nearly everyone will last only 2-4 maps. Yesterday there were only 3 players online, I went in and by the end of the game my server had 12 players. Also yesterday there were 14 online and I went in and by the end of the game I had 8 in the server. But no-one stays for more than 4 maps it seems, that's 100 minutes.
I badly want to sort out mapvoting. Also I don't even know how to change the starting map-Amtrack, I think only DejaVu can do that for some reason.
I think the large adventure maps should be modded or ring transporters added etc and put on a different server... I know when Atlantis finishes the rings on "DayAfter", that everyone will be on it, just out of curiousity... but I wouldn't like to host only that map...
I just really enjoy playing on my server, choosing skills, fighting good players etc but not being massacred by atdm, I can chill out and see new maps etc. Since the start I've only had to kick one person.

Plz I want german...
For a fair fight I like S9, Enemy at the Gates or VoidCrib...for same reasons...I "hate" Galaxy, Dark Skies or map with big spiral stairs (realitycheck?). I get 43.7 on Galaxy, 6 of those deaths teamkills then everyone leaves. The map promotes teamkilling and spwnkilling and both at same time. I'd rather see Frequency or Towers than Dark Skies...
DXSG gets voted a lot.
Issue with DXSG_CMD_V1 = Rings dont work currently in altfire server.
Issue with DXMP_CMD on Altfire - howbout cathedral/Hells Kitchen or Hangar Storage instead?
Issue with DXSG_A51 on Low Grav. 1 vent only, very difficult for beginner.
I wish for
1. DXMP_S9,
2. DXMP_IMPERATOR!!!,
3. DXMP_CMD_TheDayAfter(Altfire/final Version)
4. Enemy at the Gates...( retextured to look more damaged/burnt out etc...brushwork is better than dayafter maps, dunno who made it but I itch to work on that map's textures...)
5. Any new DXSG map
6. DXSG CMD if fixed. Definitely not DXSG_A51 in low gravity
7. FGS clan map, gothic HQ mansion with invincible boneskulls that players can carry around and look freaky...
8. Any cool space / sci-fi map we decide to make
9. PROTEUS - do not forget Proteus!!!
10. World Peace... NO SCOUTKNIFEZ, last but not least and very altfire...
dont mind the others on current map list... exile, duality etc...
