The [FGS] Clan

Hi,

everybody have his/her keys for controlling in DX. It depends on every single Player to what he/she used to.
But maybe we can learn from each other and try different things.

I think, we all uses WASD for movement. 'Cause around those keys are quite a few other keys and are easier to reach as if we would place those key in near of the arrow-keys ...

Now we will get differences. It would be nice if we could post what key, and what it does (and maybe why it is, where it is ...)

Q - MediKit (It's way faster then to scroll with mouse)
E - Altfire
R - Reload
Left Mouse - Fire
Right Mouse - Use Item
Middle Mouse - Scope
T - Say (default ...)
Y - TeamSay (default ...)

Would be nice if we could get together =)

Wow, you guys have a lot more complicated bind than I do.

i use arrow keys to move

left mouse - fire
right mouse - med ( on release equip weapon in slot 2 )
middle mouse - use item
right ctrl - crouch
space bar / ins (numpad 0) - jump
enter - altfire
right shift - scope
numpad 1 - behind view
tab - drop item
left ctrl - reconnect

meh:

WSAD -> move
Q -> medbind
F -> scores
LMB -> Fire
RMB -> use items on the world
MMB -> Altfire
E -> zoom
C -> crouch
Z -> disable all hud (sshot mode)
numpad 0 -> adminlogin
numpad 5 -> adminlogout

Delete -> SetName ~Hard

R = Altfire but this sucks as much as Tab, mouse is ftw, but not my current mouse...

B=Medkit (Clix's medbind), but my keyboard is curved and B is not a good choice, my thumb has to climb the space bar to reach B a little. I don't really often medbind, it tends to be too laggy on the servers I use.

I also sometimes use \ or X or C for binds...
Scope has always been right click and have always used WASD, too late I feel to change this, having been playing PC games since 1991.

I really reccomend my aug settings, especially R, F, V, tank combo, is very quick and easy to activate all three while still moving around etc...

I don't use behindview, I smell their fear... use my nose... sixth sense...

Numpad 0 = change to cloak aug settings
Numpad 1 = change to kniving aug settings
Numpad 2 = change to vision aug settings

sorry I am a noob, u mean you are changing which augs are chosen? or you are changing which augs are activated/de-activated.

I would really like to know how to change which augs I have chosen, without having to press Esc, Multiplayer, Player, Augs etc... and have to deselect them all, then reselect in different order, oh and die as well...

I have 4 augs binds only, and I don't use a med bind, nor a sniper bind, and I don't bounce up and down with an assualt rifle, I guess i'm a purest.

Also I have an altfire bind, which is X, I do want to change it to middle mouse click if possible, can anyone help me with this?

that is in the bottom section of your ini, the top list of aliases is for SP

then in same bottom section....

middlemouse=Altfire
