Elemental edited another version of this map and made some significant changes, but it has not been released as of yet. Here is my original beta version of the map, with the sub-base textures removed and doors/movers fixed. There are only two spwnrooms, if you want more, say so please. There is some very very basic "modding" on this map.

Please enjoy killing the enemy in this 1mb DXMP map.

maybe a better choice of texture on the main areas, leaving the recessed areas alone?

Thanks for adding the screenshot.

Thanks for the feedback...but what is "wrong" with the main area textures?
I will edit the map anyway, because I left a SP player start by mistake, when I added the MP player starts...

Dang...I like the metallic and rusty textures in the main areas, but I dont mind to change them, but it would be nice to know why you think they could be better.

It's meant to be rusty and dirty, like the Nostromo's cargo bay in the 1979 film Alien by Ridley Scott, everything is greeny/brown and dripping with water and covered in rust. I've used I think, the supertanker textures...It could be inside an asteroid...

But you are not the only person to say that. so due to popular demand, the textures will change...and Mr Spock, you can have a lab bay np :)

Thanks once again for taking the time to give some useful comments...

well it's a combat map about the size of smuggler. but I modded the cleaner bots using spydrones etc...

To be honest, the version that Elemental produced is much much better, I think people will like the little touches he added and his changes of textures...

I wonder where it is *cough*

I actually still have the map in my possession. I never had the heart to delete it, so I put it into my mapping database where it has been kept in storage for the past few months.
