IT's a problem I need to sort out, but killing on FGS 2 is difficult for me recently, not so good fps/slight lag it seemed...especially on House Arrest and 8red and large open maps it seems...

I would much rather battle you all on DXMS or Stargate, or Z server if it is soon. Otherwise September or later even is better for me...

Or run 3 contests. DXMS / FGS2 / Stargate (ok this might be difficult)...

I mean you dont ask a sprinter to run a marathon do you?

not so long ago, i had a computer the likes of 256 MB ram - the only fgs 2 map ive ever had fps probs on is housearrest

DXMS maps aren't such a good idea, but stargate would be good

And here is a good way to stay alive when you are AFK in the base...

In fact I figured a way for a 2-man team to hold the whole base for an entire game, without ever dying or losing control of the base...I'd like to put it to the test with FGS...EDIT: I have been studying the "choke points" of this map... and there is one key one, I'll be discussing with my team...

I'd like to make a rule for DXSG tournaments too:
1. NO nades of any kind IN spwnrooms,
2. NO nades of any kind IN gate rooms. That does not include the giant gate which doesnt function. That doesnt include the hangar or tower walls. That DOES include the large gate rooms in CMD and Bunker base 27's...
Any breach of the rule and u forfeit the game...
2a: No firing LAWs at Gates.
Also if the tournament is on the [A]Server, then I would also like to make the rule:
3. NO using SCLAW, it could GPF on someone or remove their HUD.

In fact [A]should try running rules 1 & 2 on their server 24/7...

I believe these rules would speed up the games, because ppl wont be so scared to use the rings/gates...

Icho? wann wird nun das tunier gemacht? aber bitte nicht am 23 September... weil ich dann bestimmt bis in den Nachmittag schlafe. am abend so gegen 17:00 uhr is mir das dann auch schon egal :) aber hier stehen auch keine genauen angaben. wann wird das jetzt gemacht? am 33 September bestimmt nicht :roll:

:shock: no disrespect shadow but i disagree with the nade on the gates not the spawn room gates but the base gate towergate should be free for nades

don't worry about it, Toss - we have server problems now and don't knwo when they're fixed anyway, so it'll probably be later

lol I agree, tower gate and hangar are lammable, they are wide open areas, but given the choice, I would not allow nukes planted on the rings.

Also I notice, ppl, including FGS members, plant lams on spwnroom doors, outside the spwnroom, but hidden so that someone exiting the room will die.
I ran out of a spwnroom 4 times yesterday on hold_the_bridge and died. grr.

Also I dont have a problem with FGS 1, I'm happy to compete there...

(I got told off by [A]lex for doing the same thing, lamming the tower walls, ppl run out of spwn and die)
