I'll explain.


This mod is going to be MP first, CO-OP, and SP too, both.


So rather than adding it to SP, I added it-- uh, just DOWNLOADS.

I was wondering why it's in the downloads section at all, since it doesn't contain a download. :?

Alright, since BIGFOOT's moderation buttons fail, I moved it now. :D

In case there comes out a kind of release for that mod, feel free to make a new topic in the downloads section containing the download link.

hey i just downloaded this Resevil.zip and i can sumon zombiedogs and zombies the only thing is i cant see them what line do i need to add in the ini file ?? :mofu:

but just for the sake of it, I'll reply again. :-D

i) When did the developer team start working on this?
a) iirc; the official date/announcement is April 14th, 2009. However we were chatting weeks prior to that, and back then I and Stefan were like best pals. We talked to Allan about offering help. Allan wanted to make a Resident Evil-themed stable co-op mod, and so we contacted him and we just start doing what we wanted to, creating tyrant, mansion-map, different item related models, guard-house map, tentacles.. what not. It wasn't all planned directly (atleast not that earlier) but we just got into work, it was very exciting. It was all going to be multiplayer from the start but somewhere in the middle afterwards we decided to go for singleplayer first.. me personally, I think we decided to go for that because of the success of TNM. Obviously after that we decided that single-player will take a time, and surely we want the 'TREM-multiplayer' to be outstanding with custom character meshes and what not, so then Allan came up with the idea to go for an out-of-the-story mod related to our work, a tech demo, something off our current progress but altered.. And that's how we started working on DXSM.

ii) When did you join the team?
a) Me personally, as I've stated, is day one, with Stefan that is. As I mentioned, we both talked to Allan and it just got started. :oops:
It's more like three of us are the founding fathers :bwahaha:

iii) When do you expect the project to be done?
a) This one is tricky. The main project will take time, that is for sure..
We plan on releasing the tech-demo as soon as possible so we start working on the main project again. The tech demo will offer us alot of PR and support. So it will be worth the wait.


ANYWAY, funny thing Chinneh, that's how you joined the crew, through this topic! :-D

That' not strictly true DJ - I expressed interest in the mod in this thread but it wasn't taken any further. Ironically it was Elemental's thread which saw me take the step and join the TREM forums back in September '09, little bit of a history lesson there. :cool:
