i got that game awhile ago but when i installed it i just got a blank screen when i tried to play it

Superb (b?) graphics -> Well its okay but not even the best
Scary as hell -> god no it isnt. Boring gameplay. Just the Sounds are "scary" when u want it so.
Strategic dismemberment -> Yes but it looks not realy real. Its funny yes xD
Freaking awesome -> a bit yeah but i expected more.

I played it and killed the Boss Monster. Its funny but nothing more. Not freaking scary ore somethink

Since when graphics is any factor when it comes to _serious_ gaming? Sure, everyone likes eyecandy, but hey, Nethack or ADOM for example, are played by sh1tloads of people and no one complains about ASCII (nethack has tilesets anyway).

it's all about the depth and gameplay for me.

True, imho the best graphics go for the most overrated and crappy games. Like CoD4, and Crysis.

Yes thats right. CoD4 and up and Crysis and Warhead are not realy good games. The grafic is fantastic but thats it.
The best Shock and scary game is for me Project Zero (Fatal Frame in other countries).
