but in all fairness, the only binds i had that weren't able to be made in-game were my medbind, my biocell, lockpicks and multitools, and lams, and gas, so like, the other 4 weren't.

I'd say cheating, bugging, crouchbugging or even sniping people that are using low tech or blades has contributed to lack of retention more than people using binds. I've used medbind in the past and I've not used it, I can't say it made a huge difference to my game or my enjoyment. You still get to fight. Some other aspects remove any sense of a fair fight at all.
