Got it like a day early.
It's really good actually. It is honestly worlds appart from BC1, although, it's still nothing like 1942.
I really like the campaign so far and hopefully the MP will prove interesting. All in all it seems closer to classic battlefield yet still keeps awesome (or rather, has much better) SP.
When playing it feels more immersive than BC1 and it does feel like a generally better game.
In comparison to the latest CoD, the storyline is better and I'd say it was more believable, but anything short of "OMG ALIENS" would prove more believable than the latest CoD.
It appears BF started the whole craze, then COD took the best from battlefield and MoH and made an unbelievably good game that combined the good elements of both.
It seems Battlefield borrowed the great elements of COD and sandwiched them on to the classic BC, then added a little BF2, and crammed in some pretty awesome storyline.

Yeah. The server list is utterley fucked too. It completely doesn't work.SPAZ ROFELZ wrote:Played a few hours of the MP tonight as I'm off work tomorrow, turned out well, only real problem i have with it is that the connections are *loving* useless, 150 ping is the new 50
After trying MP I have to say everyone should wait a week or two, THEN get it.
It's a a bloody awesome game, but there's been two masterserver failures over the last two days and connection issiues are massively rife.
Hopefully bugs will be fixed within the week.
Also, because it's all EAified with constant compulsary accounts, masterserver failure = no MP at all. No connecting via IP, no nothing, just no MP.

Re: So liek, BFBC2?
EA really, really suck on account of their many metabolic end product mandatory sign-up to use their MP. I mean, wtf guys?

Atleast it kinda does allow for constant MP Accounts...Skilgannon wrote:EA really, really suck on account of their many metabolic end product mandatory sign-up to use their MP. I mean, wtf guys?
But unless I can log on to the Xbox and redeem all of my unlocks on that too, it's not really worth it.
