@Shadow: Seen that film, tis cool.

On the subject of Predators: Went to see it a few days ago, was pretty good. I won't spoil plot, so I will summarise by saying:

Story 7/10
Acting 9/10
Effects 10/10
Overall 9/10

Also, picture of the guy covered in predator lasers is bs promotional stuff. That scene appears in the film, but only one laser is visible. Just fyi.

Toy Story 3 is probably the best movie I've seen this summer, but I'm only seeing Inception on thursday. The Ghost Writer is very fcking decent too, but I don't think you can rate movies the same way once they're different genre.. TS3 could be the best animated feature I've seen in my life though.

Predators gets mixed reviews, some people love it, some people don't, it's probably due to the genre; sci-fi, horror. At least it has nothing to do with AVP, it has a decent director and actors! Skilgannon said it's great.

AvP was ok. Sequel was dire. Only film I've ever come away from thinking: "That was a complete and utter waste of two hours of my time."

lol I would be pissed to pay for that scene with many lasers on his body, and not see it in the film... it's a great moment.

"My Beautiful Country"

this was an amazing film about Vietnamese people escaping by boat, being held in Malaysia, escaping again and arriving in the US. The guy was son of a GI in the 'nam war and tracks him down.
We always imagine that trafficked people are at the mercy of the traffickers, but actually the film shows how trafficked people also are at the mercy of each other during the journey. Great film, a little bit different.

In which perspective is the movie played?
