I found out why.

Eidos posted about us on their homepage on Facebook. It is still second thread at the top. 2000+ people follow DXHR on Facebook, so 93 people at once is not so surprising. It's a first step in the support we asked for, I'm really pleased.

I've tried to rapidly tidy up the forums and add some better shots of our project. This one is so early in the build...

Hmm I wonder if this project should go on moddb, a link from Eidos to a moddb page would be better in my opinion.

Well we asked for PR help and support with textures and weps.

I then modified the request to less sensitive stuff until we've built something and got it running. So for now, they advertise us on their sites and are hopefully sorting out some skybox textures which would be hard for us to make.

I haven't asked them specifically about animations or weapons models yet, although I did mention this and other stuff in my proposal. The Eidos Community guys fully support it, I believe the marketing director does too, but there are obviously issues which Eidos need to discuss between themselves, the game is unreleased and I have no idea of the agreement between Michael Mann, the designers and Eidos. Since we can copy protect, thx to Nobody, maybe it's possible to get our hands on other stuff, we have to wait and see how we do with the first request.

Yes. Fortunately since the music is released by the composer, we can access some music already. I think it won't be a problem to get our hands on artwork or even screenshots early, but actual weapon models and animations I haven't dared to ask yet.

The mod was I think 333rd out of 13,150 on ModDB this afternoon.
