Yep I'm a fully registered Chinny forum user , these CS maps are good for 0-augs I guess...

It's about 30% size of iceworld without the water. So I'm making something smaller than smuggler, bigger than iceworld, probably sniper will be not in spawnrooms, and considering no assault gun/shotty, only sawn-off, pistol, xbow and blades... There's a small boat that can move around the ship, the gun ports move, it's all hollowed out inside to fit the shape of the hull. There's rope which can be climbed and a stone texture for the harbour which can be climbed. Then this is very small, smaller than smuggler:

Then I can release a zero aug version of MM's Landernau2, DXMS_Rooftops, also some of the CTF maps would be good for zero.
A zero aug Landernau2 would be good for beginners, there's less focus on house no 13 and the 20mm.

Come to think of it, there's Jima's map as well, and also Magus last map as well, still quite a few new zero aug maps. A server with all of Chinny's, smuggler, iceworld and all the new ones would be good...

He's not alone in that respect either.

No one else comes to mind that maliciously edited a players .ini to benefit themselves, unless you meant Alex, but I'd consider that completely different. (When joining his server, it put you back on the proper MS or something)

I believe Shadowrunner is referring to Jon of DXMS, there was talk of some editing of .ini files so they couldn't rejoin the DXMS server I believe.

since I am not in FGS as of recently, it's not my issue whether FGS takes sides in any long term disputes, but actually I wasn't only referring to a mapping group and I don't see where Alex was to blame in that one, he wasnt posting, teaching people how to screw up someone's ini. Alex is doing something great at the moment, why would anyone have a go at him? And if people want to hold a grudge with a newbie about this for 6 years after, for letting the community know that a server could do this to people, then ok that's really mature...

If people want to make posts about me or my "attitude" that is fine, or make a even bigger storm of the fact that a newbie posted that on a forums in 2006 then ok, but that is the bottom line, of why I prefer to be clanless than earn a reputation for my "attitude" for trying to uphold what Icho layed out to us, since I wasn't informed of any demotion, I can only apologize for my misunderstanding.
COS ALL I'M TRYING TO SAY TO THE OP..is "he's not alone" i.e. be careful of any DX mod imo, that is all I am saying. Once you have loaded 20-30 SP mods into your DX, your ini does screw up.

Back on topic, I can't wait to play Chinny's pool map, that sounds perfect for 0-augs.

Also Magus new map, or last DXMS map I should say... with the sliding doors... and emp jump between spawns.
