Is it possible (or has it been done) to create something to reserve a specific username for someone connecting from a specific ip or domain address, or some other form of secure Player name reservation??

I've been running this system for years, the name "noob" is reserved for certain players. Free of charge.

a simple mutator would work though, check player's for some IP range, kicks or renames if not matched and name is that.

Never saw MM, tried to, server was always full.

I get the feeling this happens at the weekend with Cozmo, that people can't get on.

So for me and a lot of other people, Cozmopolis was the first positive RPG experience.
I got more action RPG out of SG and AG tbh also, than any RPG that was around at the time.

Probably because most of the RPG maps around that time were always released unfinished and could only be played in presence of admin(s). However some features would still not work or remain eniterly useless. It was fun though. I remember bringing furniture to my apartment from the whole map, asking admin to summon a pistol on my desk and swearing when someone threw a LAM in. Good times.

anybody fancy helping me out and writing a little something to reserve the name shinobi and associate it to something? ip? it's dynamic. I have darkglobe87.servebeer.com with no-ip... but I doubt you could use that?
