Apart of the timeout message, the log doesn't contain any unusual entries.
That's not the evidence for defective hardware. It just tells that DX doesn't seem to be aware of what's happeneing.
It could also be a driver problem.
For testing purposes you could change the graphic render system to OpenGL or even to software rendering.

Did you try to rename your DeusEx.ini and to start DX, so that it loads default values?

ok so i called customer support about the graphics card and they said to try other games so i downloaded a demo from another game it worked perfectly fine no freezing or crashing so it is only this game thats freezeing the only thing i changed is the attachment below what was changed was these below me

Yeah, that's not good. Have you tried changing the render system? Have you downloaded any video card drivers recently? Assuming at some point, your DX game worked fine, have you made any change to your hardware or software related to hardware or did the freezing issues just start out of the blue?

yeah ive changed that around still nothing worked the nvidia support told me to download the drives from www.nvidia.com mine is GEFORCE FX 2500 that didnt stop the freezeing i just error checked my pc just now theres no virus either i downloaded direct x to see if that did anything and i just tried again its still freezeing i didnt make no changes to any hardware or anything did anybody check my ini file to see if anything is changed or wrong in there ?

I had to ask this, who is your PSU's manufacturer? And how many watts can it provide?
Or did you installed the motherboard's drivers?
Check your HDD with Hard Disk Sentinel for bad sectors.

yes my pc came with a cd two cds one a graphics card and the other a sound card both are installed and the sector thing i will give it a try see what it says

maybe some of your components are overheating. clean interior of your pc, to remove any kind of dust.

dude pure genius thats wut i did just right now i opened it up and took a metabolic end product load of dust outa there and wipe it down a lil wid a damp rag and i go in and play and it still froze but it was like struggling heres wut happened

this time it froze and then unfroze and i was able to pull a weapon out i wasnt able to DO THAT before then it froze again and unfroze it was doin this for a lil while , so yea it could be overheating it improved just a lil another thing i just touched tha card in my pc when i opened its really hot to tha point where i couldnt keep my finger on it for 5 seconds thats how hot it is theres two lil fans in there that arent really blowing to hard to cool it down it blows like as if it was on low

the cleaining helped when i touched tha card to see if it was hot i already exited deus ex by this time but when i touched it again moved it around a lil bit the deus ex stopped workn and the music was like on scratch it was playn the same thing over and over like a scratched big black disc on this old music machines they use to play music on back then it sounded like that so i turned it off i just restarted it anywhere else i can clean inside in there i got rid of like 80% of the dust in there

I remember vacuum cleaning my old Pentium 4 gave me an extra 50 or so fps in dx , now i have a crappy Pentium 3.

Don't vacuum anything, use blowers.

My videocard failed cuz' I vacuumed it.. I don't even recommend DOING anything relating to Vacuum.. just use blowers or something!
