Altfire servers

Any news of when you guys are going to get the altfire servers up and running, any plans for it?

I've heard Shadowrunner has had some problems with the provider, but I think he can give you a better view of the situation. I think it should be online soon though.

there were various problems, I've changed jobs four times in three times, been ill, had my bank card go missing in the post, waited nearly a month, had no ISP for a month, now the problem is that I spent all my money at Xmas and have been ill again, so I need to wait until sometime in January before I get paid and can make the transaction.

I guarantee it will happen, but I can not guarantee when.

I am not worried too much that there was a delay, [A] have launched 3 new very good servers, which are extremely popular. If I had launched Altfire at the same time, it would have made either Altfire or [A] servers more empty, so releasing a new server at a different time, I think is wise.

My stargate maps are so big, they will work really well on Altfire, they are in a condition ready to play or be used on the server, plus the previous maplist we have chosen, the only other problem I can predict, is that it is not like Factory or Platoon server, there will be no expert changing my nappies, so right now, I have no real clue what exact files I need, but I'm sure that can be worked out. I don't see any reason why it can't happen in January, but then I didnt see any reason why it wouldn't happen in November or December, so cross your fingers...
