UED 1,2,3 General Questions Tips and Guidelines Discussion.

Post by [FGS]Kalman »

[FGS]Chees wrote:Ok it was just an idea. I was thinking of posting links to tutorials for UED problems and others to do the same so mappers don't get bugged by questions that are obvious. It would be nice to have a place to go in FGS site just for that purpose I think and help new mappers get to grips with UED.
It's a good topic for new mappers, but why did u post it in the Private General?
A quick tip: never use UED2 to place weapons, you can set their physics, but they will fall down anyway

I used Tacks tutorial from day one! thanks for the links.
I clicked the wrong place Kalman thought I was in general discussion not private section, you know me and forums!

just posts like this can make a difference without bugging people about them and all in one place just flick through it's easier than trying to find it on google.

In the first post, you say it's private. So shall the whole topic be moved or splitted from a certain post onwards?

Tack is ok, but no mention of essential MP information and it's missing some important brush/grid info.

@ Chees, you were asking for a link, I found it.

http://www.hourences.com/tutorials/

Here, it explains exactly how to trace the cause of BSP and fix it. Also some useful info about semi-solids.
