error message

Hey.. girls im trying to get onto dx but i keep getting this message when i try to enter a server: "Coretextmetal" mismatched file.. what can i do to not get this ya?

i checked in cache.. but its empty.. went to textures and it wasnt listed..

ps.. how do i play the 2027 mod

I already told him to look for coretexmetal in his texture folder and delete it because somehow it's changed, probably.

It's not even in there.

Then I tried telling him to empty his cache.

There's nothing there.

So someone either needs to pass him a new coretexmetal.utx or he needs to reinstal lol

mmm heres my version , just copy paste in textures folder and see if it works ... if it doesn't ... RE INSTALL ... if that doesn't work ... then you break the cd/ del the torrent and download /buy a new one :/ ... :P

But of course you do poor illegitimate child cause I was looking at some screenies I was telling masta today.. Lol I found poor in one of them.. Dam did 70 kills and 4 deaths never looked so good lol

So your Suggestions are I should download the file or redownload dx? Both of them sound like bad ideas cause I don't want to fu.ck up the stuff my brother has set up. All the files and what-nots.. I'll have to figure out something else.

Poor is a legend in his own right, not as much for playing the game as he is for his editing, take it easy bro

Then at least tell the fucker about the problem, also you can just back the metabolic end product up and reinstal and leave the old install in a zip / rar archive should he ever need something of it!

Man there's so many ways to fix these issues, can't you think of any?

Edit: Downloading the coretexmetal.utx provided here wont *love* anything your brother has set up. It's a file that was missing from your texture folder...
... Which makes things alot more confusing now. It's not in your texture folder, there's nothing in your cache, but you still get a mismatch WTF

I TOOK 5 mins off TO UPLOAD THAT FREAKING 5.33MB TEXTURE FILE AND YOUR WON'T EVEN DOWNLOAD IT .................

Nah Nickie I'm not trolling you bro. I had a conversation with Derek last night or I what I think was a conversation.. He told me it's not worth playing Dxmp.. It's dead.. Blah blah blah.. He also said it has something he added which it's impossible to reverse it. So idk what to do.. My mind is saying fu(k it.. Dl it on the laptop.. But that metabolic end product barely runs idk if it can even handle dx on it. If not I guess I'll just wait a few months until I buy the parts I need to build my own.

If hes not interested anymore then why are you afraid of *loving* something up that he done? Also why don't you just move the Deus Ex instal folder or install elsewhere (you can have multiple copies)?
