First of all your right, i don't play completely legit like everybody else pretty much, arrest me for using a medbind only... i'm merely one bind away from what a new player would experience. If a 120-140fps limit and a medbind only is performance over skill with the state of todays community (in which most people bind their asses off, or legitly-cheat as i like to call when it gets to the level most "vets" use, AND play with extortionate fps carelessly like that french female sex organ we all know) then clearly you need a wake-up rock thrown at your head. I've seen some disgraceful ini's in my time when you compare them to what a new player would have, and even THEY curse and moan when they're no different imo cough Ken cough. As for my fps... this amount of fps was acceptable in 2006 so come out the cupboard.

It's very evident to me (as its probably the 2nd or 3rd time) that your posts are just minor-troll-2-pence-peice bullcrap one would make towards a person they don't like, without any sort of evidence or credibility, so er... just keep the ol' type-jaw closed, unless you like looking stupid. A lengthy rant, must have struck a nerve. Though I can't make sense of most of it. I'm not of the opinion uncapping fps or using binds is cheating, that is slightly absurd.

However I think anyone could agree that scope fire binds, centerview, reconnect, and suicide binds are cheap. When in reference to Fear and its preference for non augs in low ping do I say Fear has a taste more for performance conveniences over the skill the real champs of this game came to develope by playing original gametypes and differing variants from wherever they were properly hosted.
Though this could lead to a debate had tirelessly for years on the Triad forum, though I doubt this forum's occupants can recall. So history repeats itself, this time less reasonably.

Use of macros is widely spread in all games and there doesn't seem to be any tangible method of blocking it. DXMP binds are inferior to keyboard/mouse macros that allow the use of delays, one of the reasons I've never been able to use medbind properly in dxmp.

As little as I want to make any reference to what Fear says, after all that crap he says I do feel that I have to defend myself by saying that not only do I extremely rarely use medbind (and half the time die because of it) I also do not use any other binds.

In addition to that, Fear has or had the hardware that comes with Speedhacking bug. How long or how much he has cheated is anyone's guess and I don't really bother my head with that. When he was in my clan I tried to fix it, but it is nearly impossible to explain anything to this guy, as should be well apparent by the many metabolic end product he speaks about dxmp after almost 8 years of experience.

We want the same thing for DXMP future, but you might want to give that question a second thought.

I haven't met a player yet that likes playing against cheaters online, but maybe there are exceptions..

Also, FPS bug is mostly fixed, now. Only cpu bugs remain. With updated ANNA FPS shows on scoreboard and is actually capped for all players to 190; our server runs it for testing purposes but until the guys release it publicly admins here can experiment with a server setting that caps client netspeed to 10K. I do recall suggesting netspeed cap some months ago (here, only to be ridiculed by ste), it will work for non aug games (against fps abuse). but for aug games where there is greater data transfer then it would not be a reasonable solution, those with decent connection will lose some sounds and other information due to the low netspeed (in non aug the data transfer is smaller and hence a lower max netspeed will make barely any difference). and i have tried altering server update/tick rates but its still possible to fps abuse, others are welcome to test anyway.

The problem you face there is, i couldn't give a single *loving* metabolic end product about being a "champ" as you call it, its a GAME. Second of all, i play everything bar ATDM with a default ini, come and tell me its possible to compete in ATDM with a default ini and i'll slap you in the face for being slightly silly, and i couldn't give a *love* about ping either, i spent my first competitive years in GODZ with a ping of 150, just because you see me in UK servers doesn't mean i stick local, dont be a presumptuous panzy please, there hasnt been a decent US server since THC.
