How do you record demos i dont know how ive never done it before

i cant find where the demos hold up so can someone tell me what folder they end up in?

C:\DeusEx\System ... they will end with
.dem

Ive tryed to post it in zip and its not there so i cant post a demo... how am i supposed to get recruited then

How do you mean its not there ? You have to compress the dem file into a zip file.

ive just remembered my bro played a demo someone else recorded try playing demoplay FGS.
p.s FGS HAS to be in caps.

The file has to be downloaded. If you have recorded a demorec on your PC it is only availible on your PC. No one can play it if they dont have the *.dem file. I assume the dem file you have is FGS.dem located in your DeusEx\System folder.
Find the file, compress it into a rar or a zip file with winrar or winzip and upload it here in the thread is what IchoTolot is saying.

The demo is in my system folder but I said it isnt letting me compress the file it just dissapears once i try to get it into a zip file.
