Um, if i know right, if you don't have a router, you don't have to forward any ports, you can just simply start a server and BäM there you are.
Maybe you have to add the exceptions to your firewall, and thats it, you're done. Forgive me if I was wrong

i added these exceptions already but there is still something wrong... i heard it may be something in deusEx.ini...

If you are using wireless broadband connection (which your modem seems to indicate), you are probably firewalled by ISP and won't be able to host. If that is the case, I don't know how to bypass it. Tunnels like Hamachi probably get squashed by the firewall all the same..

Because 99% of all such common cases it is in fact the server? But I guess you could be right and his firewall blocks even the player. Doesn't help his case though..

By default, server is not doing masterserver uplink. You need to enable it.

Like Deja said, you have to find the DoUplink=False part somewhere, and change it to True, or if its not there, add it like this at the end of the whole .ini :

It's possible that the server is there and everybody can see it except you.
