I have found a local hoster would I could most likely talk into hosting a server. Before I go out and spend money I was wondering
1. How much bandwidth would a DXMP server need per month?
2. What speed of processor would a server need?
3. How much ram?
4. How hard is it to set up a server?
5. Complete test to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada - http://www.speedtest.net/ - Saskatoon is a little bit left of center Canada and not far north of the U.S. border. Tell me your pings please

Think you should be able get the USA and CA players to play there, depending if its ATDM or 0 aug - not sure if many euros would join though.

I can't understand what to ask for though. Need server requirements. Also I have no experience with VPS whatsoever.

eyy haven't you hosted from cunterstrike? isn't that vps?

Counterstrike has all the files there already. I have never worked with a VPS, ever.

Since DXMP runs only on Windows, you will have to get Windows VPS. Working with it is easy, you get RDP and it feels like being on your home PC.

Can you show me your test results to Winnipeg, Manitoba and Toronto, Ontario please? Winnipeg is east of Saskatoon and Toronto is by the great lakes.
