Smuggler Altfire is a "single player" version, the MP map contains elements of the smuggler story... including the bot-garages. There are 3 on the map.

I would like very much someone to design it so that players can log into a security or some kind of device and take control of the bots. Individually or controlling the whole team i dont care, i just think it would be great fun and an interesting alternative. I would like the designer to make it possible for it to work in altfire, dxsg and dxag as well as normal mp games and for it to work with any bot such as security bot, cleaner bot etc... even mobile medbots or repairbots etc.

I left a datacube in the vents and one or two other items that can be modded. One FGS member is having a go at a datacube mod, which will actually give data lol...

I havent checked on permissions yet, but my idea was MPKeypad/FL Keypad or whatever it's called could be used in conjunction with datacubes on smuggler altfire and DXSG etc... to open the doors and a security computer take over the bots...

Sounds good but the problem is the bots dont shoot in MP. you can script it maybe but can you deaktivate the bot?(maybe with shockrifle) ore is the bot undestructable(destroyabel.. a word? i hope :-D ) and it is fair too the enemys too have one ore two of these. in Smug ALTFRE are the bots in the main area and the NSF/Unatco have too come down. when a bot is there and shoot at him and the bot is God mode (damn) is that realy unfair. the idea is very nice but hard too do. must be fair. the Securitybot4 is the main bot in Smug_Altfire. Secur3 is ok not realy main more deko. Cleanerbot... lol maybe suicide bots? drive too your feet and explode.. maybe a nice idea but i think hard too script hehe.
ok thats it for now i hope i dont write too much many metabolic end product :oops:

The bots aren't in god mode ;)

I think it would be kinda fair, if the bots would have a specific route.

Hmm... patrol points in MP? Hmm...

There's the small of problem of making them fire too... NPC's seem to do no damage on this server...

anihex i know the bots arent in god mode but you can deativate bots in MP with one ore two shoots from the shockrifle. thats the problem i mean. why script so deficult things, when the bot survive no 2 mins? its mch harder too script a fair bot. when the bot have too stand all the time than is the bot in god mod thats i mean. is the bot gone when u throw a lam too him? ore is the bot like a Transportable Turret? shoot too him and its for a time confused and undestructable? well well ^^

bInvincible =True

takes 3 seconds to change from False to True...

The bots can be invincible like turrets, equally turrets can be made breakable.

Any Decoration, minisub, van, computers, anything can be breakable...

lol i once made it drawscale=4 , very big and attached to back of Zeppelin... utter devastation...

Even in standard size it's mad, four times as big must've been crazy.
