I do find it interesting that UFO sightings skyrocketed in conjunction with the harnessing of fusion power around 1945/ 1947 etc... but as far as I can see, Area51 is just a big aircraft development centre...
but at Dulce, the idea of smarter than us aliens saying "ok, we will come and work for you earthlings, but in secret, and only for the USA, deep underground in a shithole in New Mexico..."
dam, you guys must be paying those aliens a hefty salary that's all I can say.

lmfao... there never were aliens, the truth is that the stealth figher was being developed at the time of the first "UFO" sightings and it happened to have been tested at Groom lake.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Have_Blue If you look and compare the descriptions of the first sightings with an actual photo of the stealth fighter, you will see the the similarity.
plus the technology was at least 20 years ahead of what was already known to us at the time so it was faster than all conventional aircrafts.
everything else after that was all hype.

OK some pot-smoking hippies might have thought they saw an alien...
But can you explain perfectly calm, cold, calculating individuals such as astronauts, vietnam vets etc, people who stand to lose their career etc, swearing they saw an alien...
Some sightings are very hard to explain, even video footage shot from airline cockpits etc, F-117 does not travel vertically at Mach 5 then turn 90* at mach 5... some other sightings are hard to explain, because the entire squadron went on the line to say they all saw it etc...
I am ready to believe they watch us. Yes, I admit it, I believe in aliens.

That article you posted says that the stealth program began in the 70s, but the modern UFO age began in the 1947 with Kenneth Arnold's sighting in Washington. So, it would be difficult for F-117 prototypes to be mistaken for UFOs at that time. It also discounts such sightings as the ones that took place in D.C. where mysterious craft were spotted over the city by hundreds of witnesses, who were corroborated by radar hits, as well as jets being scrambled to intercept. Not to mention UFOs go farther back in history than just recently like the flying shields that flew over Alexander the Great's army or the fiery wheel that was witnessed by Ezekiel. And in fact most modern sightings are not even of solid crafts, but of objects that are seemingly made of pure energy. This however doesn't mean that many sightings aren't misidentified aircraft, a vast portion are, such as the triangular craft sightings that first emerged in the late 80s which are most likely the TR-3B. However, to discount all such sightings as such ignores thousands if not millions of credible witnesses throughout all of history. I can go more in depth if someone wants to make a topic.
the aliens i was speaking of were specific to the area 51 sightings. lol sorry i wasn't specific enough but the topic is about Groom lake (whether we were actually talking about the concept map or not)
and because the topic is going to be about aliens i'll make a whole new topic about them :P

Agreed. A lot of recent sightings must be unmanned recon vehicles and experiments... not to mention plain old weather, airliners, alcohol etc...flying shields that flew over Alexander the Great's army or the fiery wheel that was witnessed by Ezekiel.
But... Moses wasn't talking to a F-117 was he.
Von Daniken did put forwards some interesting evidence. All around the world are plateaus about 2000 feet high. Something called a tektite is found only in these plateaus. Tektites can't be made on Earth, the temperatures and pressures etc... Mount Sinai and Baalbek, site of the "burning bush" etc, are all plastered with Tektites.
Also one has to ask, how did the Mayans know about 9 planets, 2000 years before the West invented the telescope. Von Daniken shows Mayan pictures of men in white suits, with red crosses descending into Mayan society. Also all the pyramids in the world are all on the equator, no coincidence.
The Stargate is real I tell you!

Funny you should say that. I spent a lot of the first part of the year working on a Stargate theory beginning with the Sumerians and tracing it's presence throughout history. It's amazing how many similarities there are between cultures as different as the Sumerians and the Norsemen when you know what to look for. In fact what few people know is that the original idea for Stargate was created by an Egyptologist.ShadowRunner wrote:The Stargate is real I tell you!
I've since changed my area of focus however from extraterrestrials to a more ultraterrestrial theory in line with those of John Keel and Jacques Vallee.

Keel uses the phrase "Spiritual Intelligence Source"
There's gonna be goodies and baddie Aliens of course, like every community.
My guess is the baddies are the Reptilians, the goodies are the Plaeidians.
I go with that, especially since one mispent youthful afternoon taking DMT.
Sumerians and Vikings yup. They sold women to the arabs for steel, I saw it in that movie lol "The Vikings". Jason and Argonauts left archeological fact along the Danube apparently and as you say, vice versa... The phoenicians are interesting... people had a lot more contact with each other than we realize perhaps...
