I mean, it's not like it's bad or anything, but it's just so...safe. You've got your standard-issue darkwave tropes - the brooding synths, the driving beat, the "oh no, the world is ending" lyrics - but none of it feels particularly original or interesting.

The digital release is available through all the usual suspects, but I'm not sure why anyone would want to listen to it that way when you could have it on vinyl.

I've been listening to this album nonstop for the past week, and while it's definitely grown on me, I'm still not entirely sold on it. I mean, it's a solid effort, but it's just so...predictable.
